Spinach Dip


Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon of mined garlic


1 (16 ounce) sour cream

1 (1.8 ounce) package of dry leek soup mix

1 can water chestnut (drained & chopped)

salt and pepper (to taste)

1 pinch of red pepper flakes (to taste)

1 package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

1 loaf of round sourdough bread

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, water chestnuts and chopped spinach.

  2. Transfer the mix into a baking dish and bake (400 degree F) for 10 mins until the cheese is melted.

  3. You can either serve the spinach warm or chill in the refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight before serving.

  4. Remove top and interior of sourdough bread and fill it with spinach mixture. Cut/tear the bread chunks into pieces for dipping.
